"Aquarius II"

Aquarius II is a bespoke 26 metre aluminium dive catamaran, the perfect vessel for operations based out to the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. She has exceeded all expectations, achieving a high cruising speed at low RPM, with perfect running trim and relatively low wash.

Powered by twin MTU 8V 2000 (965hp) diesel marine engines and conventional prop/shaft, Aquarius II delivers a top speed of over 30 knots, with a cruising speed of 27 knots and operating speed of 25 knots at 70% load, with outstanding fuel efficiency.

With a semi-displacement deep vee type hull and plumb bow design, the waterline length has been maximised. Not only is the vessel fuel efficient, but it also has extended range capability for delivery voyages or extended cruising time.

Designed to cater to daily dive charters, Aquarius II is equipped with the latest technology including an inbuilt air compressor and hydraulic two-stage dive platform. The aft dive deck has four toilets including hot and cold water showers and wet suit lockers. The vessel is spacious and comfortable, featuring forward walk-around sides on the upper deck with large forward and aft lounge decks.

Designed in accordance with NSCV (AMSA) Class 1C, Aquarius II is licensed to carry 125 divers plus 5 crew in coastal waters. It can also be utilised as a ferry to carry over 200 passengers. The structure meets Lloyds Register SSC standard for offshore operations.
