Eclipse Launched 2006

Eclipse is the newest edition to Calypso Cruises in Port Douglas. Launched in June 2006, this new wide body style catamaran achieved 27.5 knots, top speed. This vessel is extremely econimical using 75 litres per hour cruising at 20 knots on it delivery run from Brisbane to Port Douglas.

She has been designed to provide very comfortable accommodation for dive charters with very low maintainance. With a hydraulic diving platform which can be lowered into the water and allows the dingy to be lifted out of the water when underway.

The interiors are very low maintainance and this roomy vessel provides a number of group dive preparation areas.
