Two more SeaCat 33 Ferries for China

The latest two Sea Speed (cmcs) catamaran design delivered in China are the seacat 33 ferries"Hai Jun" and "Hai Yu" which were delivered in late 2009 and early 2010. These fuel effecient new high-speed catamaran ferry has proven to be a good solution for the low cost operation including very low fuel burn. The loaded speed is over 27 knots which is very good considering she is only powered by twin Carerpillar C32 engines (1041 kw each)  A comfortable ride is achieved with the deep vee hulls also low vibration and the noise level on the main deck is under 65dba.
This passenger space layout accommodates 194 Passengers on the main deck and 37 vip on the upper deck plus a private VIP room and 1 x 2 berth and 1 x 4 berth crew cabins.
This vessels has been built in Guangzhou (Canton) China by Guangdong Hongshen Shipyard which is a joint venture between Wang Tak and a local shipyard. This shipyard has been operating for many years prior to building the first passenger catamaran.
The standard of construction is high and to CCS (China Classification Society). LR (Lloyds Register) or most other international standards are available. The standard of this end product Fast Ferry is of export quality.
