Twelve of the "SeaCat" high speed aluminium Catamarans have been built in Thailand over the past five years. All built to international standards with class Surveys inspections carried out. Two units of the 12.3Metre/40 knot Quad Cats for Phuket. Two units of the 14.4Metre/25 knot Crew Boats for West Australia. Two units of the 18.8 Metre/34 knot cats for Phuket. Also two units of the very successful 20 Metre Calypso Dive Boat 20Metre/27 knot Dive Boats for Port Douglas operation in Australia.

In 2015 three units have been completed and delivered to the highest international standard. One unit of 24Metre High Speed Dive Catamaran an 18M Whale Watcher and a 26m Tour/Dive Cat all built to Australian NSCV Class 1C with hull structures to Lloyds Register SSC G3 rules for High Speed passenger vessels. In 2016 a change in direction sees the formation of Sea Cat Ships Co Ltd. which will go forward with the construction of Sea Speed Design cats in Thailand offering a one stop shop to customers the quality and custom relations as the main priority.

You may be surprised at the Shipyard and facilities which is located at Ocean Marina Yacht Club Marina near Pattaya. This is on the eastern seaboard coast about 1 1/2 hours south of Bangkok International Airport and 1/2 hour from Pattaya International Airport in Thailand. The facility has large shipyard construction sheds, hard stand space and a 75 Tonne and 30 Tonne Shiplift plus launching and marina facilities not to mention 4 and 5 star condos and hotel facilities and two restaurants. There is also our sales office and other chandleries and sales offices.

The sea speed designed cat first construction in Thailand commenced early 2010, with an experienced Australian team of engineers and boat builders to oversee the construction and ensure quality control. The Sea Speed design team has supplied the extensive design and kit formatting services to enable work to flow smoothly during the building process.

Sea Speed Design now available at Sea Cat Ships Granted BOI (Board of Investment) status from the Thailand Government this which among other privileges, allows them to import and export duty free which means all components can be imported without paying the import duties and the vessels are exported with no duty applicable..
